Helping Hand Partners
Helping Hand Partners is a Chicago nonprofit which sells fair trade artisan-made goods and creates sustainable livelihoods for their artisans. While I worked there, I designed sales catalogs and email blasts to showcase product and drive sales.
When designing this catalog, I worked with a copywriter, photographer, and the company’s VP. The finished catalog is 36 pages in total and showcases over 100 promotional items that the company offers. It also details the customization options, pricing, and the community impact that each product provides. The visual elements of this catalog are consistent with HHP’s branding and the bright accent colors for each product category speak to their mission of “lifting” communities and making positive changes in the lives of their artisans.
In addition to designing the catalog, I played a key role in orchestrating the photo shoot at the beginning of the project. I helped coordinate a schedule, organize props and product, and assisted the photographer and stylists on set to keep everything running smoothly.
The email blasts shown below were created from a joint marketing effort between Helping Hand Partners and one of their most popular brands, Faire Collection. Because of this, I used key elements of both companies' branding to create a visually cohesive design. The graphics were created in Photoshop, and the finished email blasts were sent out to customers using MailChimp.
